We have moved our joining list directly into our Online Scout Manager (OSM) system. You will need to create an account in OSM in order to register your young person on our joining list. Due to the way OSM works, and how me manage our joining list, you will first fill in a basic information form.
You will then be sent an email with a link in to allow you to amend your details in the future (should you move for example) – please click this link!. You will be asked to create an account in OSM at this point. Once created you will be able to add any additional information which might help in prioritising your young person on the joining list. This login can also be used to keep your information up-to-date.
Please note parents/guardians may only add their child to the beaver joining list once your child has had their 4th birthday.
If at any point you wish to remove your young person from the joining list, then please send us a message and use “Joining List Removal” when selecting the enquiry type.

Beavers (6-8 years) | Tuesday or Thursday.
Cubs (8-10½ years) | Tuesday or Thursday
Scouts (10½-14 years) | Friday

Joining list priority order
Any spaces becoming available within the Group will be allocated in the following order of priority to:
- Young People who are existing members of the Group moving between sections.
- Young People of current Group Team members and Group Trustee Board members – as defined on The Scouts website. Note: Adults in these roles need to already be acting in this role.
- Young People with older siblings already in our Scout Group.
- Young People who are already in Scouting and have moved into the area from further afield.
- Young People who live in and around the Troon area.
- All other children in order of length of time on the joining list.
