Remembrance Day Parade

Sunday 10th November is Remembrance Day and all Cubs, Scouts, Explorers and Leaders are parading to the Cenotaph then to Troon Old Parish Church.

FULL and correct UNIFORM must be worn.  Bring a Jacket in case of bad weather – decision on whether they will be worn or not will be made on the day. Please also remember some change for the Collection.

Meet at Hall on Sunday 10th Nov. We will then make our way to Troon Primary where the Parade sets off from.

We will Parade to the Cenotaph for a short Service then onto the Parish Church for the main Service then back to Hall for a mass lunch before getting picked up.  There is a new Minister at the Parish Church and we would like to show our support.

Cubs attending will all receive points for their Six and it also forms one part of the Promise Challenge!

Whatever the weather, please turn up as this is a very important occasion. It is still hugely significant today as we continue to have many thousands of our Troops engaged in conflict overseas. Give the football etc a miss and join us in our usual impressive and smart turnout. Its only a small amount of time, once a year but it means so much.
